- Purpose of the DOT testing program
- NIDA 5 substances (marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opioids, PCP)
- Prescription medications and safety-sensitive duties
- CBD warnings and polydrug use risks
Segment 2: Testing Types, Procedures, and Refusals
- When employees are tested (pre-employment, random, post-accident, etc.)
- How drug testing is conducted
- Refusals to test and their consequences
- Chain of Custody, MRO role, and specimen requirements
Segment 3: Alcohol Misuse, Effects, and Testing
- Effects of alcohol on the body and job performance
- Prohibited conduct and timeframes for alcohol use
- Alcohol testing procedures and BAC levels
- Long-term consequences, addiction, and the return-to-duty process
Assessment and Certification: The course includes quizzes and assessments to evaluate understanding and retention. Upon successful completion, a certificate is automatically generated.
Delivery Method: This course consists of segmented video lessons and interactive quizzes. No special software is required.
